Level 2 Valve Technician

About the role

At FCX Performance/Baro Controls, a division of Applied Industrial Technologies, we are seeking a Level 2 Valve Technician to join our team in Stafford, TX. This position offers a great opportunity to be part of a company with a rich history of success and a friendly, fun work environment.

Responsibilities

- 5-10 Years of Experience in testing, repair, and assembly of Pressure Reducing Valves (PRVs) - Experience working with major PRV manufacturers such as Consolidated, Crosby, Andersen Greenwood, Farris, and Leser - Ability to work independently, managing daily assembly and certification tasks, and handling customer turnarounds - Familiarity with ASME and NBBI VR Certification quality system requirements - Proficiency in PRV valve asset management software - Knowledge of PRV test equipment - Training and leadership of new technicians

Requirements

- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds - Must pass a drug screening and background check

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred - Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
