About the role
Lake Saint Charles Retirement is seeking a Full-time L1MA / Insulin Certified Nursing position for the Evening shift.
Responsibilities
- Check on residents
- Absorb residents' needs and assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLS)
- Call physicians and families as needed
- Document resident interactions and activities
- Pass and order medications as per schedule
- Tackle other urgent matters that arise during the shift
Requirements
- One year of relevant experience (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license (preferred)
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be dependable, compassionate, and responsible towards the residents.
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle emergencies
- Knowledge of insulin administration
