As a Level 1 Med Aide you will be empowered to actively participate in the lives of residents and their families, helping deliver the best quality of life and care.
A Level 1 Med Aide assists in the administration of medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the department director. Medication administration follows current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing the community, and as required by the department director or supervisor to ensure the highest degree of quality care.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications to residents per physician orders and under department director supervision
- Follow all federal, state, and local regulations and community policies for medication administration
- Maintain the highest degree of quality care in medication practices
- Advance the value that the resident comes first; model person‑centered care and create attributes of home
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent desired
- Minimum of four (4) hours of medication administration training every two (2) years to administer medications in an RCF or ALF
- Completion of Level 1 Medication Aide Biennial Training

Pay
Starting at $17.00 per hour plus shift and weekend differentials. Additional pay based upon experience.
