Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics and testing on vehicles and electronic systems, and resolve faults and defects
- Carry out maintenance and repairs on our specialized vehicles
- Independently replace worn parts
- Work with electronic and computer-based measurement and diagnostic systems
- Understand and apply technical documents, diagrams, and wiring plans
Requirements
- Completed compulsory education with strong grades in mathematics
- Successfully passed the AGVS aptitude test
- Reliable, trustworthy, and eager to learn
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Strong technical understanding and manual dexterity

About us
The Logistics Base of the Swiss Army (LBA) supports the troops by providing all logistical services. With around 3,500 employees and 12,000 militia members, the LBA manages the materials, systems, and infrastructures of the Swiss Army. The Swiss Army employs over 9,000 staff in four military and around 200 civilian professions across 110 locations nationwide. It also trains apprentices in over 30 professions.
