LEO Event Staff - Kansas Speedway
About the role
Kansas Speedway, established in 2001, is situated in Kansas City, Kansas, offering convenient access to major highways, the Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway, and various amenities for visitors. The venue hosts two NASCAR Cup Series races, the NASCAR Xfinity Series, the NASCAR Gander RV and Outdoors Truck Series, and the ARCA Menards Series. Additionally, Kansas Speedway operates over 200 event days annually, including two race weekends.
Responsibilities
- Provide visible Law Enforcement presence to guests and employees.
- Aid Guest Services and Security staff as requested by OIC and/or Senior Manager of Event Operations.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Must be part of KCKPD or KCK Sheriff’s department.
- Must work with an approved Mutual Aid agency.
- Willingness to assist event staff as needed.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Positive attitude.
