Responsibilities
• Welcome and set expectations with all customers
• Customize glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses
• Lead in optical expertise
• Take and record measurements, accurately adjust and fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs
• Assist the team with complex product needs and prescriptions
• Accurately and thoroughly use technology despite time pressure and customer volume, maintain strong product knowledge, use appropriate tools
• Proactively explore root causes of issues, think ahead, ensure customers are satisfied and expectations are exceeded, problem-solving focused
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time with competing priorities
• Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and competencies
• Take pride in store appearance, help keep the store clean, attractive, and organized
• Inform management of safety opportunities; demonstrate safe work practices
• Resourceful, self-motivated with a desire for continuous learning, improvement, and results
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management
Qualifications
• High School graduate or equivalent
• State Licensure
• Optical dispensing experience
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder
• Knowledge of current store merchandise
• Strong basic math skills
• Awareness of current fashion trends
• Selling skills – ability to use and carry an iPAD/tablet
• Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators
• Embrace new technology and change
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: $23.97 - $37.39 per hour
This posting is for an existing vacancy within our business. Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including location, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements. You may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
