If you have a strong background in commercial lending, loan processing, and coordinating loan closings, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your banking career! Position Details Pay: $40–$50/hr Location: Fairfield, NJ 07004 Schedule: Hybrid, 4 days onsite and 1 day remote Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire Start Date: November 3, 2026 What You'll Be Doing Manage commercial loans from approval through closing. Coordinate with lenders, Relationship Managers, attorneys, and internal banking teams. Review loan documentation for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance. Manage loan pipelines and ensure transactions close on time. Assist with loan funding, payments, draws, and payoffs. Resolve documentation and processing issues to keep transactions moving. Ensure loan transactions are accurately processed and recorded. Maintain compliance with banking policies, procedures, and regulations. What We're Looking For 5–7 years of experience as a Lending Assistant, Loan Processor, or in a similar commercial lending position. Strong knowledge of commercial loan processing, documentation, and closings. Experience with Commercial Real Estate (CRE) and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) loans preferred. Experience with banking systems and nCino. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
