About the role

The Studieninstitut Westfalen-Lippe is an educational institution serving the municipalities in Westfalen-Lippe. In the field of medicine and emergency services, we organize and conduct events and instruction for approximately 5,400 participants annually. Our pedagogical and organizational work centers around the learners. Their success measures our work.

Responsibilities

• Konzeptionierung und Durchführung von Unterrichten sowie Leitung von Lehrgängen in der Ausbildung von Notfallsanitäterinnen bzw. Notfallsanitätern bzw. in der Ausbildung von Rettungssanitäterinnen und Rettungssanitätern
• Organisation und Durchführung der Praxisbegleitung in den Abschnitten Lehrrettungswache und Krankenhaus
• Entwicklung, Gestaltung und Bestimmung von Lernzielen und Lerninhalten (Curricula)
• Entwicklung und Weiterentwicklung von Unterrichtsinhalten im Hinblick auf den Fortschritt in Medizin, Wissenschaft, Forschung und Technik
• Kreative Unterrichtsgestaltung in moderner Ausstattung
• Mitwirkung in Prüfungsausschüssen
• Mitarbeit in Gremien und Ausschüssen
• Überwachung und Mitwirkung bei der Festlegung von Qualitätsstandards in der Aus- und Fortbildung
• Lehrtätigkeiten in Aus-, Fort- und Weiterbildung von Rettungsdienstpersonal

Requirements

• Hochschulstudium, bevorzugt im Bereich Pädagogik, abgeschlossen
• Qualifikation als Notfallsanitäterin bzw. Notfallsanitäter
• Eignung als Lehrkraft nach Anlage 5 der Ausführungsbestimmungen zur Ausbildung zur Notfallsanitäterin / zum Notfallsanitäter in Nordrhein-Westfalen – Teil I neu und3 Ausbildungs- und Prüfungsverordnung für Notfallsanitäterinnen und Notfallsanitäter
• Erfahrungen im Rettungsdienst sowie Unterrichtserfahrung
• Fähigkeit, Unterricht handlungsorientiert und innovativ zu gestalten sowie pädagogisch zu reflektieren
• Eigenverantwortlichkeit und Selbstständigkeit im Team
• Bereitschaft, sich ständig weiterzubilden
• Führerschein der Klasse B

Qualifications

• Qualification as a Notfallsanitäterin or Notfallsanitäter
• Pedagogical supplementary qualification (e.g. Praxisanleiter/Praxisanleiterin)
• Experience in the emergency service and teaching
• Ability to develop and implement curricula
• Ability to adapt and improve teaching content based on advancements in medicine, science, research, and technology
• Ability to create innovative lesson plans in modern equipment
• Participation in examination committees
• Participation in committees and councils
• Participation in quality standard setting processes
• Teaching responsibilities in continuing, further, and advanced training for emergency service personnel
