The Show Technician position would be responsible for operating show audio/lighting consoles, and assisting other departments as necessary. The Show Technician should have basic experience with installation projects and technical troubleshooting spanning the entertainment industry.
Location: LEGOLAND® FL (Winter Haven, FL) – must be local to Central Florida. Employment type: Seasonal.
Responsibilities
- Operate show audio/lighting consoles - QLab and Yamaha audio board experience required
- Work cleanly and efficiently to deliver a stunning final event
- Troubleshoot any technical issues with show elements
- Work closely with Stage Manager and Entertainment Team to provide world-class shows
Requirements
Valid driver’s license required. OSHA and similar construction safety certification(s) helpful.
While on-site, frequent exposure to unfavorable conditions such as all-weather, or working in cramped, very dirty, or unpleasant quarters. The Show Technician will often be on-site and need to work in hot/humid, cold/freezing, rain, and snow conditions to complete the job before the deadline.
