About the role
The Legislative Policy Analyst works in Stateside's Legislative Division. The position supports the development and implementation of strategic initiatives related to state and local government affairs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research on state and local government policies and regulations
- Prepare policy analyses and recommendations for clients
- Engage with stakeholders including legislators, agency officials, and advocacy groups
- Support the drafting and analysis of legislation and regulatory proposals
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and provide timely updates to clients
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in political science, public policy, communications, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in government relations, public policy, or related field
- Strong analytical and writing skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications
- Knowledge of state and local government processes and procedures
- Experience with legislative and regulatory processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
$58,000 - $60,000 annually
Schedule
Office hours are from 9:00AM to 6:00PM January through May, and from 9:00AM to 5:00PM June through December.
