Legal Specialist | Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and redline commercial contracts to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and business objectives.
• Provide expert input on matters relating to employment law, structured finance, private equity, and mergers and acquisitions.
• Evaluate and advise on SaaS Master Service Agreements (MSAs) to identify areas of risk and recommend improvements.
• Interpret complex regulatory requirements and shape guidelines for compliance within evolving legal landscapes.
• Absess data privacy policies and practices in accordance with international standards and regulations.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to clarify legal concepts and deliver clear, actionable written feedback.

Requirements

• Have an active Bar membership and be in good standing.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, with a demonstrable track record in commercial contracts, employment law, and structured finance.
• Possess deep knowledge of private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrate proficiency in contract redlining and negotiation, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Have hands-on experience reviewing and advising on SaaS MSAs and data privacy matters.
• Exhibit exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex legal concepts for diverse audiences.
