Position Overview
As a Legal Specialist, you will support live private equity, M&A and financing transactions for leading global investment firms, asset managers and corporates. You will review and negotiate NDAs and ancillary transaction documents in line with client-approved playbooks, ensuring alignment with legal and commercial positions. This role sits within Scissero’s Legal Managed Services team and is being hired to support a planned secondment with one of our key clients: a leading global alternative asset manager with a high-volume transactional pipeline. The successful candidate will initially join Scissero for a few months of onboarding, training on our legal review processes, client playbooks, legal technology, workflow systems and service delivery model. Following this, they will undertake a ~12-month client secondment, working closely with the client’s internal legal and investment teams. During the secondment, you will support the review, negotiation and management of NDAs and related deal-flow documentation. The role will also include legal operations support. Prior legal operations or secondment experience is not required, but candidate must have interest and willingness to learn. This role would suit someone who is highly organised, client-facing, curious about how legal services are delivered at scale, and open to developing broader legal operations
