Legal Service Fund Attorney

About the role

The Legal Service Fund at Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada is seeking a full-time Attorney to provide critical legal services to its clients who are the backbone of this community: those who work in our hotels and casinos.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal services to clients facing eviction and housing related issues, predatory lending avoidance, wills, powers of attorney and healthcare directives, immigration, debt collection, record sealing, and other issues.
• Offer thoughtful mentoring and guidance to clients through the Legal Service Fund team.
• Lead your own cases with different attorneys offering varying expertise on different fields of law.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice law in the State of Nevada.
• Experience in civil litigation preferred.
• Strong commitment to serving the underserved members of the Southern Nevada community.

• Starting salary range is $75,000 to $100,000 depending on experience, with annual increases available.
