Legal Project Coordinator
Position Highlights
The Legal Project Coordinator is focused on handling substantive corporate and litigation projects and providing general administrative support to the Legal Department.
Position Responsibilities
- Handle a variety of substantive corporate, litigation and risk management projects that may require organizational skills, research, attention to detail, critical thinking, written work product, and clear/concise communication.
- Draft/prepare Legal Department correspondence, including various memoranda and outside counsel engagement letters.
- Research, prepare, review and file requisite applications, forms, registrations, permits, and requests with vendors, contract counterparties, regulatory bodies, and government agencies.
- Manage department, constituent, and vendor interactions with CSC, the Legal department’s e-billing software.
- Prepare various written materials for the Legal Department (including presentations, spreadsheets, reports, calendars, and agendas) using the Microsoft suite of applications.
- Maintain document filing, contract management, and record retention systems according to company policies.
- Various administrative responsibilities within the Legal Department, including organizing/scheduling meetings, arranging travel, expense reporting and tracking, calendar management, and event coordination.
- Other duties as required and requested by Legal Department personnel.
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2 or more years of related experience at a law firm or corporation
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint
- Proficient in using artificial intelligence platforms
- Knowledge of Concur, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, Trip-It, and CSC applications preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Able to apply research and critical thinking to tasks and projects
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks and projects and be self-directed
- Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Physical Requirements
Sedentary for extended periods, 4 or more hours per day
Visual acuity for detailed computer work
Use of fine motor skills for tasks requiring precision such as typing
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: The expected Base Salary range for this position is between $27.74 to $44.28 per hour, equivalent to $57,700 to $92,100 per year, depending on experience and skillset.
- Bonus: This position is eligible for an annual performance-based cash bonus. Bonuses are earned, calculated and paid in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Company’s applicable incentive plan document.
