Legal Operations Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Define the legal operations strategy, roadmap, and execution plan; build an AI-enabled operating model with workflows, metrics, and continuous improvement loops.
• Drive the evaluation, selection, and implementation of AI-enabled legal tech, automation tools, and intake systems. Design workflows using AI and tools like Jira for intake, routing, and reporting.
• Define metrics to demonstrate legal impact, build dashboards, and use data to prioritize projects and measure AI/automation efficiency.
• Build and maintain SOPs, playbooks, and knowledge systems (Confluence); lead cross-functional projects including requirements gathering, training, and adoption of new tools.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in legal operations (in-house or high-growth tech environment preferred).
• Daily, hands-on use of AI in professional settings, including prompt design, output evaluation, and building repeatable workflows.
• Proven experience deploying AI-enabled workflows or legal technology with measurable business impact.
• Strong data literacy with experience defining metrics and building dashboards.
• Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Salesforce, Snowflake, and Confluence.
• Understanding of legal department operations (intake, workflow, matter management, privacy operations).
• Excellent project management and communication skills with the ability to work across functions (IT, Finance, Sales).
