About the role
BlackSuit is looking for a Legal Consultant with experience in both litigation and in-house legal work.
Responsibilities
- Drafting legal documents (affidavits, complaints, notices, pleadings)
- Handling cheque bounce cases (Section 138 NI Act) and civil recovery suits
- Supporting matters before the High Court and other courts
- Court filings, case tracking, and attending hearings (as required)
- Legal research and preparation of case briefs
- Contract drafting, review, and compliance support
- Managing legal queries, disputes, and RBI-related matters
- Coordinating with clients, counsels, and internal teams
Requirements
- LL.B. degree
- 3–4 years of relevant experience
- Strong drafting, research, and communication skills
