The firm also advises clients on trademark clearance searches, contentious IP matters, enforcement strategies, and represents clients in domestic and international arbitrations.
About the role
The selected candidate will assist in intellectual property prosecution and litigation, including handling trademarks, copyrights, designs, and patents, while supporting litigation, arbitration, and client advisory matters. This is a full-time, on-site role at the New Delhi office.
Responsibilities
- Assist in intellectual property prosecution and litigation matters.
- Draft, file, and manage trademark, copyright, design, and patent applications and related documentation.
- Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions and advisory notes.
- Draft pleadings, submissions, and other legal documents.
- Support litigation before courts and tribunals.
- Coordinate with senior lawyers and clients.
- Attend hearings as required.
- Assist with enforcement strategies and arbitration-related work.
- Maintain case files, monitor deadlines, and ensure timely communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent).
- A minimum of 2 years of work experience in intellectual property, litigation, or a law firm environment (preferred).
- Enrollment with the Bar Council of India (preferred).
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, opinions, notices, and agreements.
- Knowledge of intellectual property law, including trademarks, copyrights, designs, and patents.
- Interest in IP prosecution and enforcement.
- Ability to manage multiple matters, prioritise deadlines, and maintain case files.
- High integrity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and collaborate with senior team members.
