About the role

This role is pivotal in exploring and implementing AI-integrated software solutions, creating new processes, and enhancing efficiencies for our legal staff. The ideal candidate will report directly to the Director of Knowledge and Innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and evaluating AI-integrated software solutions to streamline legal processes and improve operational efficiencies.
  • Collaborating with the LP community to understand their needs and challenges and designing custom workflows to address all aspects of the AI lifecycle.
  • Leading the implementation and integration of new technologies, ensuring smooth adoption and maximum benefit.
  • Managing the continuous improvement of knowledge management systems, leveraging AI to enhance data retrieval and information sharing.
  • Training and supporting legal staff on the use of new technologies, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the impact of implemented solutions, providing regular feedback and recommendations for further enhancements.
  • Staying abreast of the latest developments in AI and legal technology and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Capturing and analyzing usage data and feedback, evaluating opportunities for improvement, and working with legal staff to develop plans to increase adoption.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in knowledge management or innovation within a law firm.
  • Strong understanding of applications in the legal sector, particularly AI-integrated solutions and GenAI such as frontier models and agentic AI.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing software solutions to improve operational efficiencies.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a non-technical audience.
  • Independent thinker who can take initiative and manage processes with little supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Experience managing projects from inception through planning, execution, and completion.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $120,000 to $130,000. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be contingent on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant and the requirements of the position.
