About the role
The Legal Hearings Specialist will be responsible for various administrative tasks related to legal hearings, including mail intake, calendaring, and updating case management systems.
Responsibilities
- Receive and review all incoming Hearings mail
- Schedule Hearings within the 67 Florida counties, adhering to judicial requirements
- Calendar Hearings in Case Management system and maintain Hearings calendar up to date
- Prepare Notices of Hearing, Notices of Cancellations and Notices of Appearance
- Prepare Hearing Packages for attorneys
- Update our and our clients’ Case Management systems with Hearings information and results
- E-file and serve Hearings pleadings and orders
- Assist with other duties and special projects as needed
Requirements
- High School Diploma; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Minimum one year of experience in the legal field; Florida foreclosure experience preferred
- Ability to read a docket and prepare a service list
- LPS, Vendorscape, Real Resolution, Lenstar, Clarifier and PACER experience highly preferred
- Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office products
Qualifications
