Legal Expert

This role is for U.S.-based legal professionals who can create and provide high-quality legal data for AI training and research. You will produce hypothetical, public, or properly authorized contract examples, clause libraries, legal research materials, case summaries, issue annotations, drafting examples, and document-review datasets; the work does not involve giving legal advice to clients. Location United States only Engagement Flexible contract projects Compensation $100/hour Schedule Flexible; varies by project What you’ll do Create legal datasets containing contracts, clauses, research questions, issue-spotting fact patterns, case summaries, citations, and drafting examples.Annotate document types, provisions, issues, authorities, jurisdictions, outcomes, risks, and relationships between facts and legal concepts.Verify citations, labels, and source materials while documenting relevant dates, courts, jurisdictions, and limitations.Use hypothetical, public, or fully authorized materials and exclude privileged, confidential, sealed, personal, or client-identifying information. Required Qualifications Currently based in the United States.Legally authorized to work in the United States.J.D., paralegal qualification, compliance background, legal operations experience, or advanced law-school training relevant to the work.Strong legal research, issue-spotting, citation, and analytical writing skills.Ability to follow confidentiality requirements and work carefully with fact-intensive materials. Preferred Qualifications Active bar membership or substantial professional experience in a defined practice area.Experience in legal writing, clerkship work, litigation support, transactional review, regulatory analysis, or legal education.Familiarity with structured document review, annotation, or legal technology.
