Legal Counsel

For our client, we are seeking a Legal Counsel Canada to join the team of a leader in the Hospitals & Medical Centers space. This role will provide business-aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen responsible execution, improve decision-making, and support sustainable growth within a healthcare environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $135,000 – $155,000 annually Responsibilities Lead the drafting and negotiation of various commercial agreements Provide practical legal counsel on privacy, healthcare, regulatory and corporate matters Draft legal responses for client inquiries and proposals Support initiatives in privacy, compliance, and corporate governance Collaborate in cross-functional teams with subject matter experts Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Membership in good standing with a Canadian law society 2-5 years of post-call legal experience Bilingual in English and French Proven experience in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements Strong written and verbal communication skills Self-starter with sound judgment and professionalism Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment Benefits Hybrid work environment (remote and in-office) Opportunity to engage in innovative healthcare solutions Support within a complex global legal structure Dynamic, fast-paced work environment Commitment to professional growth and development opportunities Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
