Legal Coordinator (Internal Applicants Only)
About the Role
The Opus Group represents a shared services model providing administrative support to our house of brands (Opus, MAS, and Verve). This role offers a unique opportunity to establish yourself within a thriving company, focusing on contracts, corporate governance, and compliance. You will join an in-house legal team, honing skills in process management, contracts, and corporate legal affairs.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day workflow for the Legal team through our contract management system, ticketing system, and email proxy.
- Oversee the contract process for statements of work through coordination with legal, account management, and finance teams.
- Manage and organize corporate records and files.
- Perform data entry and clean-up in supplier and contract management systems.
- Assist the Legal team in compliance tasks as needed.
- Perform other research and administrative tasks as required.
- Deliver superior customer service to all internal and external contacts.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an administrative assistant or coordinator (preferred).
- Experience in a law firm or corporate legal setting (preferred).
- High degree of computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Google Docs, and contract management software.
- Superior attention to detail, memory, and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, ask clarifying questions, and drive compliance with processes and procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multi-task as priorities shift.

Pay
The starting salary for this role is between $50,000–$52,000. Salary ranges are based on third-party national average market compensation analysis and may vary depending on training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Schedule
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Travel requirements are approximately 5%.
Physical Requirements
- Required to sit for the majority of the day and stand as needed.
- May require walking on level surfaces for periodic periods.
- Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist, or lifting as required for filing or storing materials.
- Proper lifting techniques required.
- Travel via airplane, train, taxi, car, or other means may be required.
