Legal Business Operations - Sr Specialist - Estate Accounts
What Will Be Your Responsibilities Within IBKR:
Serve as the primary expert resource for deceased estate matters across the organization.
Review and validate estate documentation including death certificates, letters of testamentary, probate documents, and executor authorizations.
Capture and manage all necessary information from the estate process, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate the transfer or liquidation of securities, options, futures, and other financial instruments held in deceased accounts.
Ensure proper handling of outstanding trades, margin positions, and corporate actions for deceased accounts.
Liaise with legal counsel and compliance teams on complex or high-value estate matters.
Preferred Qualifications
- Law degree, paralegal certification, other relevant qualification or significant demonstratable relevant experience.
- Experience with international estates and cross-border asset transfers.
- Knowledge of estate planning strategies and trust structures.
- Experience working in a global financial institution.

Role's Anticipated Base Salary Range
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $70,000 to $90,000 annually, based on skills and experience. The offered salary is just part of the total compensation package. In addition to a competitive salary, the company offers both a discretionary cash bonus and stock award, as well as a wide range of benefits, including health care, tuition reimbursement, and much more.
