Legal Assistant - Tax

About the role

In coordination with the Tax Practice Group Legal Team, provides legal and administrative support to attorneys, paralegals, peers and other colleagues as needed and requested. Works collaboratively and cooperatively with others in a team-oriented environment to deliver the highest level of service to internal and external clients. Duties may vary based upon office location and practice group.

Responsibilities

• Understands the specific needs and business of the practice group.
• Manages the business intake process - runs adversary searches, drafts screening memos and engagement letters and opens new files.
