About the role

Slocumb Law Firm is a nationally recognized Personal Injury law firm with a growing presence across the United States. We are seeking a self-motivated Legal Assistant to support our attorneys and ensure efficient case management and daily office operations in Springfield, MO.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to attorneys and enhance office effectiveness
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, medical providers, and other parties involved in the case
• Gather, organize, and maintain case-related documentation and information
• Prepare and file legal documents and correspondence
• Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments
• Support case progression by maintaining organized files and tracking deadlines

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Legal Assistant preferred
• Personal Injury law firm experience strongly preferred
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Working knowledge of case management software preferred
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Professional judgment and attention to detail
• Spanish proficiency is a plus
