Legal Assistant

Robert Half is partnering with a public sector entity in the Seattle, WA to identify a Legal Assistant who is ready to IMMEDIATELY jump in to assist and possibly join their team. This position is contract with potential for extension. Responsibilities:Manage and support public records request workflows, including organizing files, tracking responses, and helping ensure timely handling of requests.Review legal and administrative documents to identify confidential or protected content and prepare accurate redactions using appropriate software tools.Provide day-to-day legal support through document preparation, case-related administrative assistance, and coordination of records and correspondence.Maintain well-organized digital records and ensure legal documents are stored, updated, and accessible in accordance with established procedures.Use Adobe-based tools and other office technology to edit, redact, and prepare high-quality documents for review or release. At least 2 years of experience in a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or public sector legal support role.Familiarity with public records requests, including exposure to reviewing or processing responsive documents.The salary range for this position is $28-32/hr.
