Duties and Responsibilities
- Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, including notices, pleadings, discovery requests, subpoenas, and other legal correspondence.
- Organize and maintain legal files, case documents, and databases.
- Aid attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and meetings.
- File legal documents with courts and government agencies, ensuring compliance with deadlines and procedures.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, court personnel, and other stakeholders.
- Obtain signatures for HIPAA, medical authorizations, attestations, and affidavits.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Assist in preparing trial binders and exhibits.
- Support attorneys with case preparation and administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or certificate in Paralegal Studies or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal support role, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Familiarity with legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
- Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of court filing systems and e-filing procedures.
