About The Position San Diego-based insurance coverage/coverage litigation firm has immediate need for a Legal Assistant. Cases are in federal and state court and are a mix of environmental, toxic tort and CD coverage litigation, along with smaller cases addressing other coverage issues. Requirements Qualifications: Qualified candidates must have 5+ years of litigation experience in federal and California courts. Some experience with insurance coverage is helpful. Responsibilities/Qualifications Include Preparing, revising, and formatting legal documentsFederal and state court filings, including E-FilingsAbility to handle short deadlines and multiple filingsFamiliarity with federal, state and local court rules and proceduresCalendar managementTrial preparationAbility to organize files (online)Expense reportsAssist attorneys as necessary in other areasMust be proficient in Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of SharePoint/Teams/One Note a plusMust be detail-oriented and require minimal supervision Compensation Commensurate with experience.
