Legal Assistant
About the role
Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our Legal team. This will be a full-time, in-office position, based out of our world headquarters located in Lakewood, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Correctly tags, titles, and links agreements in the contract management system.
- Tracks agreements throughout the contract lifecycle, following up as needed to meet deadlines.
- Affords domestic and international registration filings.
- Prepares and processes legal documents, including contracts, correspondence, licensing applications, and memoranda.
- Reviews agreements to ensure compliance with the provided checklists.
- Facilitates contract signatures, as requested.
- Drafts legal correspondence, as requested.
- Maintains, organizes, and audits files in accordance with department procedures.
- Answers telephone, mail, and email correspondence in a timely manner.
- Runs and distributes accurate reports by the required deadlines.
- Affords shipping for domestic and international mailings (UPS, FedEx, etc.).
- Affords jurisdictional background and licensing applications, as assigned.
- Affords scanning, filing, data entry, and faxing, as requested.
- Provides general information, answers questions, and directs individuals to appropriate parties, as necessary.
- Provides administrative support to Executives and local management, as requested.
- Collaborates with other departments to ensure smooth office operations.
- Performs special projects, as required.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED equivalency is required.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar position is required.
- Experience supporting C-level executives is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required.
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and LinkSquares is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Must have demonstrated professionalism, including while working under pressure.
- Must have the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines, while maintaining a realistic balance among priorities.
- Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness.
- Must have the ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalency.
Skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and LinkSquares.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Pay
$22 - $23/hour
Schedule
Normal hours are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
