Legal and Contract Lead
CMC, part of Amoria Group, is seeking an experienced Legal & Contracts Lead to become the trusted legal and contractual partner to our growing US business in Dallas, Texas (Uptown). This hybrid role offers the opportunity to shape commercial contract management, influence business decisions, and ensure contracts support both growth and risk management objectives.
Responsibilities
- Review, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial agreements, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), client terms and conditions, amendments, and contractor agreements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for legal and contractual matters across the US business.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate legal, commercial, and operational risks while providing practical, business-focused solutions.
- Lead the contract review and approval process, ensuring robust governance, compliance, and documentation standards.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Compliance teams to ensure contractual obligations are understood and effectively implemented.
- Drive continuous improvement of legal processes, contract templates, systems, and best practices.
- Support business growth by balancing commercial objectives with effective risk management.
Requirements
- Proven experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts within the United States market.
- Strong knowledge of MSAs, SOWs, contract governance, and contractual risk management.
- Excellent commercial awareness and the ability to make pragmatic legal decisions.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- The ability to operate autonomously while building effective relationships across multiple business functions.
- Experience within staffing, recruitment, professional services, consulting, or contingent workforce solutions is advantageous but not essential.
