Legal Advisor | $120/hr Remote

Short-term contract role (9 weeks) – fully remote, flexible schedule up to 40 hrs/week with a minimum 4-hour overlap with PST.

Responsibilities

• Create and evaluate high-difficulty legal tasks and expert-level solutions.
• Develop scenarios covering commercial contracts, legal agreements, policies, legal research, regulatory matters, and complex legal issues.
• Review AI-generated outputs for legal accuracy, relevance, clarity, and practical usefulness.
• Analyze complex legal matters and identify potential legal and business risks.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and revise contracts, agreements, policies, and other legal documents.
• Interpret laws, regulations, and regulatory guidance and translate them into practical recommendations.
• Review and calibrate team outputs and provide expert feedback.
• Escalate complex cases and rubric-related issues when required.

Requirements

• 5+ years of legal practice experience, ideally at the Senior Associate, Counsel, or equivalent level in a law firm or corporate legal department.
• Juris Doctor (JD), active bar admission, or an equivalent legal qualification and professional license applicable to the candidate's region.
• Advanced experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and revising commercial contracts, legal agreements, policies, and other legal documents.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex matters and identify potential risks.
• Expert knowledge of laws, regulations, and regulatory guidance and the ability to translate them into actionable recommendations.
• Ability to provide clear, practical legal advice and recommendations.
• Strong legal judgment, written communication, research, and attention-to-detail skills.

Pay

$90 – $140 per hour.
