Leeville - Underground Fixed Maintenance Planner II
We are looking for an Underground Fixed Maintenance Planner II to join our growing team at our Leeville operations. This role supports our vision to be the world’s most valued gold mining business by ensuring safe, efficient, and sustainable operations.
About the role
The successful candidate will assist general supervisors and shift supervisors with job priority and availability, including adjustments to the preventative maintenance schedule driven by production and maintenance needs.
Responsibilities
- Complete scheduling of weekly maintenance plans for underground (UG) and Major Repair shop
- Ensure accurate job packets and schedules are maintained and distributed
- Run and report on maintenance KPIs
- Assist other planners in closing and scanning work orders
- Communicate effectively with both operations and maintenance personnel
- Improve maintenance efficiency using planned, predictive, and maintenance techniques and systems
- Write purchase requisitions for unavailable material
- Track progress of ordered material and schedule work once parts arrive
- Assist general supervisors and shift supervisors with job priority and availability, including changes in the preventative maintenance schedule
- Prepare Fixed Maintenance forecasts and budget
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- One (1) year maintenance planning experience in an underground mining environment preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP preferred
- Validated safe work record required
- Ability to work in a team-based maintenance organization required
- Ability to perform the essential functions of this position required
- Experience with maintenance budgeting in Xeras preferred
