LED Wall / Resolume Operator
Job Summary
The LED Wall / Resolume Operator is responsible for pre-show build, show-day operation, and real-time management of content mapped to front-of-house LED walls and screens using Resolume. You will collaborate with team leads to execute specific Resolume builds, program cues aligned to the run of show, adapt to last-minute changes, and troubleshoot on the fly to ensure flawless audience-facing visuals.
Scope
Operate Resolume to map, playback, and manage all FOH LED wall/screen content
Work with team leads to execute specific Resolume builds and implement deliverables
Program and build cues aligned to the show rundown, production notes, and timing
Build complete LED packages in Resolume, including output/slice mapping and content organization
Fly graphics, assets, and live stats in real time during events
Troubleshoot software and routing issues quickly; escalate to engineering when needed
QC all LED content with onsite teams prior to going live
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain extensive, hands-on knowledge of Resolume (Arena preferred) for mapping, playback, and show control
- Modify, import, organize, and deploy assets (layers, decks, columns) within Resolume
- Configure outputs, slices, and screen mappings to match LED processor specifications and venue layouts
- Program cues, transitions, and triggers; support MIDI/OSC/timecode workflows where applicable
- Integrate and validate data-driven elements and live stats; ensure accuracy before air
- Ensure resolution, frame rate, color space, and aspect integrity across all outputs
- React to and implement last-minute changes and new deliverables without impacting show quality
- Collaborate closely with operations, engineering, production, and creative leads; communicate clearly and promptly
- Log and report on-air issues; implement safeguards to prevent recurrence
Key Success Indicators
- 1+ year operating Resolume in live event or broadcast environments
- Proven experience building LED packages and advanced output/slice mappings
- Demonstrated ability to program cues and execute accurate transitions under pressure
- Strong multitasking, punctuality, and adaptability in fast-paced, live scenarios
- Comfortable collaborating with creative producers and clients to implement graphics adjustments
- Familiarity with common video signal flows (HDMI/SDI/NDI), EDID management, and show control (MIDI/OSC/timecode) is a plus
- Experience with LED processors (e.g., Brompton, NovaStar) and venue-specific mapping considerations is a plus
