The Department of Family, Interiors, Nutrition & Apparel at San Francisco State University invites applications for part-time lecturer positions (non-tenure track) in Nutrition & Dietetics for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters.

Responsibilities
- Teach courses in Nutrition & Dietetics
- Develop and implement course materials
- Maintain high standards of teaching and student learning outcomes
- Participate in departmental activities and committees
- Engage in professional development and ongoing improvement of teaching methods
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nutrition & Dietetics or related field
- Current teaching license or eligibility for licensure
- Experience teaching in higher education
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay
- Lecturer A/2 Full-Time Equivalent: $5,507 – $6,677 per month
- Lecturer B/3 Full-Time Equivalent: $6,221 – $13,224 per month
- Lecturer C/4 Full-Time Equivalent: $6,825 – $14,523 per month
- Lecturer D/5 Full-Time Equivalent: $8,593 – $15,211 per month
Schedule
Most new lecturers are hired at the Lecturer A or B rank. The anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, commensurate with education and experience.
