About The Role
The University of Canberra is seeking an experienced and passionate Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Midwifery to join our growing Discipline of Midwifery. With increasing student demand and an expanding program, this is an exciting opportunity to make a genuine impact on the next generation of midwives. You will join a small, supportive team where your ideas are valued, your contribution is recognised, and you will have the opportunity to influence the future of midwifery education. This is a full-time ongoing position based in Canberra.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences in midwifery education.
- Contribute to the development and expansion of the midwifery program.
- For Senior Lecturer applicants: establish and maintain a research profile including publications, research supervision, and attracting research funding.
Requirements
- Current unconditional registration as a Midwife with AHPRA.
- Clinical experience in midwifery.
- Completed (or near completed for Level B) PhD in Midwifery, Health or a related discipline.
- Experience teaching in higher education.

Salary Range $116,403 pa - $163,431 pa plus 17% superannuation.
