About the role

The Center for Latin American Studies invites applications for a Lecturer teaching position during the Fall 2025 semester.

Responsibilities

Teach courses in Latin American studies, including but not limited to courses on Latin American history, culture, and politics. Provide feedback to students through regular assessments and office hours. Collaborate with colleagues to develop new course materials and enhance existing curricula.

Requirements

- A Master's degree in Latin American studies, related field, or equivalent experience. - Demonstrated ability to teach effectively at the college level. - Experience working with diverse student populations. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

- Strong background in Latin American studies. - Ability to engage students in critical thinking and discussion. - Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Skills
