About the role
The Lecturer position in the Biomedical Program at North Carolina State University is responsible for delivering lectures, assessing student performance, and managing laboratory components as outlined on the course syllabus.
Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures covering course objectives as stated on the course syllabus.
- Assess student performance through exams, projects, laboratory assignments, and homework.
- Oversight of laboratory components including ensuring student safety, meaningful content, and coordination with lectures.
- Timely grading of exams, papers, and projects.
- Providing assistance to students during scheduled office hours.
- Supervision of teaching assistants if provided.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education and Experience: MS in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- Expertise in the subject area of the course to be taught.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
