About the role
The Department of Accounting is accepting applications for the position of Non-Tenure Track Faculty Lecturer (part-time).
Non-Tenure Track Faculty positions are one-semester or one-year, with the possibility of renewal. Applications will remain on file for one year should openings arise in subsequent semesters.
Successful candidates will teach 1 to 3 courses for the BSA (Bachelor of Science in Accounting), MAC (Masters of Accounting) and/or MBA (Masters of Business Administration).
Teaching is in one of the following areas: accounting information systems, auditing, business/data analytics, business law, financial accounting, intermediate accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, and not for profit/government accounting.
Specific hiring needs for the upcoming academic year have yet to be determined.

Qualifications
- Minimum Education and Experience: Requires a master’s degree and professional or teaching experience related to the teaching assignment that is significant in duration (e.g., 5 years) and responsibility level, and current at the hire date. If an applicant does not have a master’s degree, must have a bachelor’s degree in a field related to the teaching assignment and the depth, duration, sophistication, and complexity of the professional or teaching experience must outweigh the lack of master’s degree qualification.
- Other Required Qualifications: A commitment to the success of students and programs at the University.
- Preferred Qualifications: Relevant professional certification (CPA for example) and experience teaching at the college, university or community college level. The ability to teach in more than one area. Experience teaching and developing online courses.
