(Leave Replacement) Nursery School Associate Teacher

Leave replacement position for an Associate Teacher in the Saul and Carole Zabar Nursery School, a Reggio-inspired, Jewish-values-based, child-centered program that respects students as citizens with powerful ideas and voices.

This is a temporary role with an anticipated duration of September 8th, 2026 to January 15th, 2027. The JCC reserves the right to modify the length based on business needs.

About the role

The Associate Teacher will collaborate with teaching teams, embrace the Reggio Emilia philosophy and Jewish values, and support observation and documentation of children’s learning. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Director or Associate Director.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with various teaching teams
• Learn and apply the Reggio Emilia teaching philosophy and Jewish values in daily work with children
• Support teaching teams with observation and documentation
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director or Associate Director

Requirements

• Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s Degree (or in progress) in a related field
• Relevant experience

Pay

$25,000 paid biweekly over the duration of the assignment.
