Leasing Specialist
Responsibilities
- Assist the Leasing Manager with national branding, programs and marketing goals outlined in the annual marketing plan.
- Develop and distribute leasing and marketing collateral, flyers, etc. Ensure accuracy on all printed material.
- Aid in planning, preparation, and implementation of marketing and leasing events, property events, social media competitions, etc. as approved.
- Afford monthly marketing calendars and initiatives.
- Continuously develop product knowledge, fair housing, and other industry knowledge in order to meet and exceed leasing goals.
- Greet and answer questions, both by phone and in-person from prospects and current residents in a professional and positive manner.
- Develop both print and internet marketing and advertising strategies.
- Daily follow-up on guest cards.
- Participate in outreach marketing activities, distribute flyers, advertising and marketing materials.
- Facilitate “move-in” process including touring models or vacant units, set-up of mini-models as needed, promoting the property and lease signing.
- Aid in application verifications and ensure accurate and timely completion of lease file paperwork.
- Afford renewal campaigns.
- Conduct marketing surveys, shop competitors where applicable and complete Marketing Reports.
- Execute all business transactions in accordance with Michaels policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Required Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, creativity with regard to developing innovative and effective marketing presentations, attention to detail regarding applications, verifications and compliance, energy and motivation.
- Required Experience: Two or more years’ experience with Marketing/Leasing and Customer Service, High School Diploma required, any college level marketing course work preferred, heavy sales and marketing focused.
- Required Skills And Abilities: Demonstrated leadership skills, ability to effectively manage and delegate numerous tasks in a short period of time, proven proficiency in all areas of property management operations, strong organizational, analytical, financial and decision-making skills, excellent communication, management and customer service skills, strong competency with email and internet usage, as well as word processing and spreadsheet programs, experience with Property Solutions Entrata a plus.
