THE LEASING SPECIALIST POSITION

Intrinsic Development is seeking a Full-Time Leasing Specialist to join the team at Alura Luxury Apartments, part of the exciting new Discovery Park development in Lee’s Summit. As a key member of our leasing team, this role serves as a brand ambassador, driving leasing success and delivering an exceptional first impression for future residents of this premier community.

THE LEASING SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the entire lease signing process from lead to signed lease.
• Develops relationships with potential residents practicing a consultative sales approach.
• Takes charge of follow-up process for all prospects and successfully determines next-steps depending on stage of process.
• Keeps meticulous notes and records of all telephone and in-person visits on guest cards and in Entrata.
• Ensures all paperwork, documents, signatures and deposits are collected from resident before approving move-in.
• Distributes and follows-up on renewal notices, creating a sense of urgency to re-sign lease.
• Provides exceptional service to residents by answering any questions, submitting maintenance requests and listening to concerns/complaints, working with Community Manager on appropriate resolutions.
• Affords assistance with the move-in, move-out inspection process.
• Affords assistance with daily inspection of show units, amenities and tour route promptly freshening/clearing trash or eye sores and reports concerns or repairs needed.
• Affords assistance with outreach marketing activities to drive prospective resident traffic.
• Affords assistance with market surveys by shopping competitive communities.
• Affords assistance to the marketing team in planning and attendance of resident functions to ensure event success.
• Affords assistance to management with additional tasks and special projects as needed.

THE LEASING SPECIALIST QUALIFICATIONS

• REQUIRED; Availability to participate in Saturday shift rotations (every other Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm)
• REQUIRED; Availability to work weekdays from 9am to 6pm.
• MUST HAVE; Sales and Customer Service experience a must!
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Self motivated, deadline driven and highly organized
• Flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
• Effective listener with ability to understand needs of team members at all levels
• Interacts effectively with project team, client and reviewing authorities.
