Leasing Specialist

As a key driver of our community's success, the Leasing Specialist delivers a "WOW" experience to prospective and current residents alike.

About the role

This guest- and resident-facing role involves guiding apartment and property tours, promoting our premium rental residences, managing prospective leads, and boosting occupancy. We are seeking an engaging, self-motivated professional with demonstrated experience in leasing, sales, or a related industry.

Responsibilities

• Respond to all leads within 4 hours and manage the full lead-to-lease process
• Prospect weekly and build relationships with local businesses for cross-promotion
• Network with major employers, universities, and hospitals to generate traffic
• Conduct leasing tours using DLP’s Standards of Excellence and close with confidence
• Assist prospects in applying using online tools and proven closing techniques
• Create and lead resident programs to enhance the living experience
• Build relationships with current and past residents to drive referrals
• Regularly walk and inspect the property to ensure cleanliness and functionality
• Maintain accurate CRM records, guest cards, follow-ups, and lease paperwork
• Communicate consistently with the Community Manager, leadership, and teammates
• Attend all required meetings and trainings; manage goals and time effectively
• Organize and coordinate resident events monthly
• Conduct accurate market surveys by performing in-person shops on a regular basis

Requirements

• A strong background in multiple years of multifamily property management is required
• Proven ability to drive positive results while representing and promoting core values
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong outreach and social media marketing background
• A sense of empowerment, accountability, and success at achieving goals, driving performance, and developing team members
• Appfolio, G-suite, and Microsoft Office experience is a plus

$18.00-$23.00 per hour
