Duties/Responsibilities
- Understand the housing contract document and all related addendums and communicate all relative information to prospects and residents.
- Generate new leads, schedule and conduct tours, enter data into the Property Management Software, and follow up with prospects.
- Aid the Associate Community Manager in promoting the community via social media platforms, participating in on- and off-campus marketing events, and managing unit assignments and placements.
- Track and report leasing data, metrics, and goals, assist with email and text campaigns, and maintain a positive community environment.
- Resolve resident concerns and conflicts, escalating issues to the appropriate manager as needed.
- Perform daily opening and closing checklists, inspect model and tour routes, perform housekeeping as needed, and participate in Landmark Lineup and required staff meetings.
- Respond to internet and telephone inquiries professionally, keep detailed activity logs, and enforce community policies and procedures.
- Collect application fees, security deposits, and other income as needed, participate in the on-call rotation schedule, and perform after-hours lockouts.
- Assist in Turn-related activities such as move-in and move-out days, unit inspections, trash outs, and unit make-readies.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Community Manager.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant major preferred.
- Minimum 1-year sales and marketing experience preferred.
- Minimum 1-year residential leasing experience preferred.
- Locally mandated licenses/certifications strongly preferred and, in some cases, required.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills.
- Reliable and self-disciplined.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Entrata experience preferred.
- Available to work evening and weekend hours, and during University closings and Turn periods.
