Leasing Manager - Hourly
About the role
Beztak, a national Real Estate Development, Construction, and Property Management company, is seeking a Leasing Manager to join our team of talented individuals. This role is responsible for achieving and maintaining occupancy goals of the community by building and implementing a comprehensive advertising and marketing plan that includes both internal and external marketing to generate required traffic.
Responsibilities
- Leads the training and professional development of self and the leasing staff
- Complies with policies in a positive manner and assists in maintaining a motivational workplace atmosphere
- Provides and receives open, positive, direct feedback to all team members
- Assists in the organization and preparation of move-in, renewals, and move-out processes to ensure a positive resident experience
- Leads tours of the property, builds rapport, and follows up with potential tenants
- Participates in and implements resident retention programs
- Maintains a strong knowledge of and accurate database within relevant operating systems (e.g., Yardi, lead tracking software)
- Operates a company or personal vehicle for work-related purposes, including driving to perform job duties
- Works in a high-pressure environment, handling urgent matters, resolving conflicts, and interacting with difficult customers or vendors
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role or related field
- Ability to multi-task and quickly adapt to change
- Exceptional customer service and time management skills
- Able to work a flexible schedule when needed
Work Environment
This position typically operates indoors in an air-conditioned office with a mixture of natural, incandescent, and fluorescent lighting. You may be exposed to varying weather conditions (e.g., heat, cold, rain, snow) when performing outdoor tasks and may occasionally encounter extreme conditions such as high heat, humidity, freezing temperatures, or heavy rain. Periodic confinement to a vehicle is required.
Physical Demands
The position requires regular sitting for long periods, walking, standing, climbing stairs, and communicating with residents, staff, family members, and the public.
