Leasing Manager - Hourly

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Leads the training and professional development of self and the leasing staff
• Complies with policies in a positive manner
• Affords assistance in maintaining a motivational atmosphere in the workplace
• Provides and receives open, positive, direct feedback to all team members
• Affords assistance in the organization and preparation of move-in, renewals and the move-out of our residents to ensure that the process is a positive experience, (worthy of referral) for our residents
• Leads tours of the property and builds rapport and follows up with potential tenants
• Participates in and implements resident retention programs
• Maintains a strong knowledge of, and accurate database within, all relevant operating systems including Yardi, lead tracking software etc.
• Operates a company vehicle or personal vehicle to perform job duties. Must be willing and able to drive for work-related purposes
• Works in a high-pressure environment, interacts with difficult customers/vendors, handles urgent matters, resolves conflicts, has effective interpersonal skills

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role or related field
• Able to multi-task and quickly adapt to change

• The position is required to regularly sit for long periods of time, walk, stand, climb stairs, and communicate with residents, staff, family members and the public
• May occasionally be exposed to extreme conditions, including high heat, humidity, freezing temperatures, and heavy rain while performing outdoor tasks
• Periodically confined to a vehicle
