About the role

As an hourly Leasing Manager, you are responsible for the success of the property’s daily leasing activities. Our leasing team works with on-site and regional management to achieve the property’s weekly leasing goals while providing exceptional service and support to current and future residents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a small leasing team to meet weekly leasing goals by setting tactics and objectives to drive traffic.
• Use three-plus years of leasing experience to balance leasing responsibilities while developing supervisory skills.
• Engage in difficult conversations with employees and residents, hearing concerns and seeking resolution.
• Be hands‑on with day‑to‑day leasing functions, setting the tone and standard for how work gets done.
• Lead by example, assisting potential residents through the entire apartment rental process when needed, including greeting and touring market‑ready apartments, answering questions, efficiently processing applications and fees, and supporting them through move‑in for a hassle‑free transition.
• Build rapport and trust with prospective residents as they select their next apartment home.
• Apply the same skills to obtain lease renewals with valued residents.
• Positively impact residents’ lives by providing a stress‑free and informed rental experience.
• Maintain a friendly and efficient approach to engage every person who walks through the office door.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; undergraduate degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of residential property management experience with a proven track record in leasing or sales, plus a minimum of 1 year of experience supervising others.
• Previous property management experience with a proven track record in leasing or sales
