Position Summary

The Leasing Manager is responsible for effectively leading the leasing team and accomplishing effective leasing, marketing, and positive relations of an apartment community.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with potential residents through various marketing strategies and outreach efforts.
  • Close sales by conducting tours, managing showrooms, and following up with leads.
  • Ensure the community maintains a positive image through resident functions and after-hours activities.
  • Secure resident retention through planned events and community involvement.
  • Generate and process lease agreements, move-ins, and move-outs efficiently.
  • Oversee leasing staff, providing training, development, and performance evaluations.
  • Greet and qualify prospects professionally, assist with applications, and adhere to company procedures and Fair Housing guidelines.
  • Show apartments, prepare them for move-ins, and provide community orientation.
  • Maintain an active social media presence to enhance property visibility and engagement.
  • Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 4 years’ experience in Leasing capacity – Preferred
    • 2 years’ experience in supervisory role – Preferred
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management, Adobe, Property Management Software, PopCard or LTS.

    Physical Requirements

    • Sit for extended periods of time while working at a desk.
    • Climb stairs.
    • Read documents, computer screens, and data.
    • Hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer.
    • Lift or carry items such as files or office supplies weighing up to 20 pounds.
    • Use mobile devices and applications for work-related tasks.

    Work Environment

    • Based on site, primarily in an office setting but may require outdoor exposure to the elements.
    • Open office setting with bright lights, constant noises, and distractions.
    • Flexible schedule including weekdays, nights, weekends (including Saturdays and Sundays), and occasional overtime.

    Compensation

    The anticipated pay range for this opportunity is $23-$25 an hour plus monthly bonuses and competitive benefits package.
