Leasing Counselor

The Gatesworth — St. Louis's premier independent senior living community, locally owned and nationally recognized since 1988 — is seeking a Leasing Counselor to join our award-winning team. Openings on this team are uncommon, a reflection of the loyalty and tenure our staff build here.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tours, home visits, calls, emails, and personalized follow-up with prospective residents and families
• Manage sales activity, follow-up tasks, and apartment inventory in Sherpa CRMC
• Collaborate daily across departments to deliver a seamless experience for prospects and families
• Maintain regular meetings with the Leasing Director for coaching and review of sales metrics and goals
• Maximize apartment rental revenue and occupancy per leadership-established goals
• Manage lease paperwork, sales collateral, and follow-up materials

Requirements

• College degree required
• Genuine passion for working with seniors
• Background in sales, marketing, communications, or related field preferred
• Prior senior living industry experience preferred
• Positive, confident, and able to build relationships with a diverse range of people
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Sherpa CRM or similar preferred

Schedule

Full-time, Sunday–Thursday (Monday–Friday with rotating weekend coverage considered for the right candidate)
