About the role
The Leasing Consultant at Bell Partners is responsible for welcoming prospective residents, coordinating tours, responding to inquiries, interacting with current residents, and coordinating lease renewals.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the welcoming first point of contact for all residents, prospects, and visitors to the community
- To effectively lease apartments and sell property's products and services in accordance with budget
- To ensure Fair Housing Standards in all matters when working with prospects and residents
- To follow up on leasing traffic entries and monitor traffic trends
- To maintain thorough product knowledge of property and that of major competition
- To assist with marketing activities to position Bell communities as communities of choice
- To coordinate the resident application review in accordance with Bell guidelines
- To complete lease packets and files for each resident to include the lease, all addendums and other forms
- To regularly attend and be punctual
- To properly document and follow up with residents throughout the lease
- To receive and address any resident inquiries, complaints, or issues and provide timely follow up
Requirements
- Understanding of and alignment with Bell Core Values
- A high school diploma or GED
- 1+ years' customer service experience; preferably in a hospitality or apartment leasing role
- Demonstrated support of BAL strategic drivers
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to work on a team or in a team environment
- Presentation of a professional image
- Resourcefulness and organization
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Exceptional customer service skills and a professional image
- Good decision-making skills and knowledge on how businesses work
Qualifications
- Physical requirements: Walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting to 30 lbs., ability to work with mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as hazardous materials, comfortable with heights and moving heavy objects
