About the role
Bender Companies is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Leasing Consultant to join their team at Linden Park Apartments. This individual will play a key role in maintaining a high occupancy rate at the community by identifying qualified prospects, guiding them through the leasing process, and ensuring resident satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Professionally present available apartments to prospective residents through in-person tours, virtual tours, and phone/email communication
- Collaborate with the Community Manager and leasing team to identify, attract, and qualify potential tenants
- Market vacant units using a mix of online listings, social media, signage, and outreach events to generate leads and maintain visibility
- Accurately communicate community features, floorplans, pricing, availability, and lease terms to prospects
- Guide prospects through the leasing process from initial inquiry to signed lease, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the local rental market, competitor communities, and emerging trends
- Perform routine inspections of model units and vacant apartments to ensure optimal presentation and functionality
- Aid in resident retention efforts, community events, and ongoing customer service to enhance resident satisfaction and engagement
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Leasing Consultant or in a sales-focused position
- A consistent track record of exceeding sales targets
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- A customer-first mindset with the ability to build rapport quickly and provide tailored solutions
- A strong understanding of local leasing laws, fair housing regulations, and compliance standards
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check
Skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
- $18-$20/hr (base pay)
- $100 per each new lease commission
- A percentage of renewals
Schedule
- 9 AM to 6:00 PM
- Saturdays required (10 AM to 4:00 PM)
